We have good roads.  We have low crime rates and watch for suspicious activities.  We remind Tripler not to fly their helicopters over our quiet neighborhood.  We are ever vigilant for those dog walkers who do not pick up poop left behind by their pets.  We have sponsored events for our keiki (Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Festival, and Christmas Party).  We mourn each passing of our neighbors and celebrate their births that we are informed of.  We provide annual scholarships for Moanalua High School Seniors. We listen to your concerns.  We help solve problems and complains. We help you find the right people to get things done.  We support our schools (Moanalua Elementary, Moanalua Middle and Moanalua High) boy scouts, swimming, tennis, wrestling, project grad, MMS Music Boosters and anyone who is a member of the MGCA can ask for support as well.  We welcome new neighbors.
We are the MGCA (Moanalua Garden Community Association).  If you live in Moanalua Gardens, whether you own or rent you are part of this community.  You may join ($12 annual fee) and be a part of keeping our wonderful community running smoothly.  Our current board is ages 75+ years old.  It is time for the next generation to step up and keep it going.  I know we are all busy with our daily lives, but we need to put asside a couple of hours per month to make sure the Gardens remain a great place to raise our ohana.
We meet once a month on the first Tuesday of the month at the Moanalua Middle School from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.   Our next meeting will be October 2 room B3.  Please make every effort to join us.  Surely, we all can spare a couple of hours a month to enhance our community for ourselves and future generations.
See posting in Announcements from August 8, 2012 for membership information.
